Sometimes the easiest video ideas work best. Check out this music video for Sonar Calibrido (a collaboration between artists Maga Bo and Filastine, both of whom I discovered via DJ /rupture) which does little more than walk the streets of Tangiers where they're working.

I don't know how many Signalstation visitors actually listen to Prodigy, a techno outfit that hit its high point in the mid-90s with the track "Firestarter" and a video that featured a guy named Keith who had three mohawks, a lot of eyeliner, several piercings and a lot of ... spirit.

Most folks never realized that Keith was just a flamboyant front man. He's there for entertainment, but he's not the music guy. The actual "prodigy" is the guy who's always in the back of the band photos, Liam Howlett.

There'll be more coming over the next few weeks as I find time. I have the albums encoded. It's just a matter of uploading them, finding cover images, etc.

Just doing my part to make sure their legacy isn't just in the form of one single Best Of CD.

The Signal EP020: We Thank Jamaica. We're less eclectic this time out, focusing on the reggae spectrum from roots to ska to modern electronic dub sounds. Since I've only met one person in my whole life who didn't like reggae at all, I feel certain that SignalStation visitors will dig it.
