I'm blog stalking now. It's my really good ability. I've been trying to get out west permanently for about a year now. Just having trouble getting a foot hold in the bay area. If you need someone to carry a box of all your belongings behind you, I'm very good at that, but I start at $16 an hour. My smile is weak though.

And we miss you already! Thanks for taking the effort to come out. Got yer email about more Reich. Steve, not Nazi's. I'll try to get on that so you can get your fix of minimalism.

Does 1.5 inches qualify as "cut"?

You act like you don't know I'm already cut. That's cute.

Obama has passed a new rule that adult males entering the District of Columbia must submit to a mandated circumcision. I tried to get that waived for you, but no luck. See you on Wednesday!

"Good one, squire. Like it like it."
If they made a movie about you, they could call it Lethal Weapon. Have you ever thought about that? Sounds pretty cool. But you'd have to make sure the partner can't retire so he'd be around for sequels. You know what I'm sayin'? So don't shoot HIM.
Paralysis jokes are funny. Laugh 'til you can't laugh no more...

I'm off because I refuse to play by the rules. My partner, who retires in two weeks, isn't even able to hold me back. So it's a week without my badge and gun. But I'm continuing to investigate... just on my own time.
Good jokes, good jokes... did you hear about Terry? Suffered a massive stroke that paralyzed the left side of his body? Yeah, he's all right now.
... Nope, I got nothing. Good luck!

Heya Michaelvanvleet,
Good to hear that you are enjoying your furlough. Or is it a suspension for sexual harassment again? Either way, you're having fun!
Today's the third day of my new job (www.resolv.org), and it's great! Gotta build up my stamina, though. Have a facilitation at the EPA today with 100 angry people. Got any good jokes to diffuse vitriol?

I don't recall. Years ago.
I was just going through our image directory on SignalStation and was finding stuff that could be reposted.

Unfortunately, this is unpaid time off, and at a week a month, it will end up being the equivalent of a 25% pay cut or so. So travel is completely off the menu for us as we tighten belts as well. About all we can afford to do is play host with the spare room and offer to walk about and be tour guides.
I do have enough of a D.C. posse that I definitely want to make the trek sometime, but it doesn't look like it's in the cards for this year, unless some global economic miracle happens.

I would love to think about stopping by. Alas, it will only be the thought that counts. I'm skint on vacation days and preemptively watching that tight belt as much as much as possible. I was hoping you'd say you had time to come out here to D.C. I could give you a tour of all the Republican legislator's offices. Lol!

You already know that I won't be your guy for the comix. Aside from my admiration of your encyclopedic knowledge, when do we ever talk about inking?
We can stick to the minutes of the NAMBLA meetings. Oops, don't want to embarass you in front of your folks.

But Illinois might end up being the home town of the leader of the country... so that's gotta be worth something, right?

Unfortunately, I have to show up and vote on Election Day. Illinois is not known for being a leader in...well, anything.
Happy voting!
