I feel like I didn't give upon Formspring. It gave up on being a reliable web service. I got tired of pages timing out or not loading.

Aw, damn. Now I wish you hadn't given up on Formspring so I could keep asking you such questions.

All, "Who won the World Series in 1995?"

All, "How is mechanically-separated chicken made?"

I didn't find questions that could have been answered by Google to be particularly compelling.

I suppose I could have been nicer about it, but being meaner about it means there was actual entertainment value to be had. For me, anyway.

Well. In fairness to you, she did give you a different impression... until it was too late!

I will now go back in time to give myself a TEAM MICHAEL t-shirt.

By definition, a carny is an outsider. So in away, they sorta deserve it, in the thinking of a local, just for showing their stupid face.

I was about to say "Who would attack a carny?" Then I realized what a dumbass question that was.

In person he sounded less like a jungle predator and more pigeony.

Home again, home again, jiggety-jig.

We've made the drive home safely in one day. There's a lot of California out there, we've been finding.

Haven't heard the cat yet, but the murdering part about the Brits is good times! We're back in D.C., and we enjoyed seeing you guys very much. Have fun up in Oregon! Drive safe back home.

That's awesome. He sounds like predator in the jungle. I hope you get out of there alive.

Yes, you need a new needle. Don't go thinking your situation today = your situation for your whole life. God only knows how hard it would be to acquire a new one somewhere down the line.

PS: sometimes total strangers do appreciate the old stuff of people who are no longer with us. It's the whole reason vintage is a thing, and antiquing and so on.

Thanks for sharing this. I have paid it forward by sending the link to my boss; it seems like the kind of thing he'd be interested to see as well.

In The Loop is good and judging from the fact that it looks like it was made with a budget exceeding the 25 dollars they normally spend making a dr. who episode, probably the most expensive British film ever made. It's like the English Avatar.

Even a boring blog post is a nice way to hear what you're up to. Looking forward to seeing you on the 20th.

Thanks! I found a collection of old Radio Shack answering machine messages, and that was the best one.

And you're right on the money about #13. I think that's exactly why it's won me over, when usually that talk-singing style annoys me.
