The Signal: EP093 - a pop/rock experience that doesn't belong on your tongue! Exactly 45 minutes of pleasant sounds for you and anyone you care to share them with.
A few notes: the file is available for a limited period of time. The track list is in the id3 tags. Notes are below.
The Signal: EP092
February 25th, 2013
The Signal: EP092 - Ghosts in space! Ghosts in your face! It's not Halloween, but we've accidentally included a few-- what-do-you-call-'em?-- "spooktacular" tracks in the latest Signal mix. I hope your heart can take it, but if it can't, see if some of your other organs can. Some of them have been freeloading for awhile and it's 2013... time for every organ to pull its weight. Even if it doesn't weigh much. (Gall bladders, I'm looking at you.)
The usual: this file is available for a limited amount of time, so don't sleep on it. Actually, you know what, sleep is important. Take a nap, then come back and download. The tracklist for the mix is in the id3 tags. The first song is going to blow off the top of your head. Notes are below. I think that's everything.
The Signal: EP091
February 9th, 2013The Signal: EP091 - I hope everyone's in the mood for some new sounds, including some kinda experimental electronic ones, 'cause that's what I got. It's a good one, though. I mean... if you liked most of the last 90, then... yeah.
What do you need to know... let's see. It's up for a limited time. You have to look at the id3 tags to find out what's in it because I decided long ago I didn't want this website to bait out Google searchers. Tippity top secrets. There are a few vague notes below.
I hope you like it? At least one or two songs?
As much as I'm liking using question marks?
The Signal: EP090
December 24th, 2012
The Signal: EP090 - A just-in-time Christmas gift to the world. Go ahead, world. Unwrap it while I watch. Slowly... slowly. WE CAN RE-USE THE PAPER!
It's Christmas Eve, I'm in Bangalore, and there's no Indian music in this entire mix. Sometimes that's just how it works out. I only have a few more days here to see if I can find some music I like to take home with me. Don't have anything yet. Had better luck finding Korean pop on YouTube in the evenings that caught my ear on this trip.
Let's see, what do you need to know... the music mix is eclectic. This time around we've got some electronic sounds, some R&B from Korea, some rock, some pop, some punk and even an old jazz-era track. The file's available for a short period of time. It's 45 minutes long. It's not awful.
The Signal: EP089
September 19th, 2012
The Signal: EP089 - Beamed directly to you with serious intent.
45 minutes of amusements for ears. File available for a limited but unspecified period of time. Snoozing is again equated with "losing." Not even tiger blood can help when the calendar man skips down the lane, as no one has ever said. There are notes below that may not add much and a track list in the id3 tags of the file. The id3 tags will reveal that much of this mix came from one place. A good place. (That place is not "my heart" if you're guessing instead of looking at id3 tags.)
So there you go. And there we are. (Or are you reading this in the far-flung future, looking back at us and wondering what were files, or calendars, and how did one used to "fling" a future? Welcome! We're probably all dead now, but you can hear these words in your brain! Isn't that crazy? Maybe that's not crazy in the future. But back here, we still think telepathy from the dead is pretty neat.)
